Did ESPN just buy the Big XII?

By picking up all of the FOX Regional Sports Networks, ESPN picked up most of the Big XII's tier 3 broadcast rights. The only ones they didn't pick up were Texas, which they already had, and West Virginia. I may be missing one or two, but Fox has agreements with the major players like Oklahoma and Kansas.

It will be interesting to see what ESPN does with this. I don't believe this was their objective. I think ESPN was more interested in all of the professional sports programs. But they have picked up the Big XII in the deal.
