allows them to fully fund the number of grants in aid allowed in every sport. I think you better check the other part of that as any student receiving scholarship assistance of any form from the university counts against the limit which is a hard cap. I do not believe Stanford, Duke or UVA can boost their numbers through academic grants in addition to athletic grants. Nonscholarship DIII schools do skirt the rules with academic grants.
