Texas has never been their go to. They've had as many or more from Florida.


Several more from New Jersey. And the same with California. They've -always- had to recruit nationally. Dan lists at least 3 more important factors than playing in Texas in his post above. From your list, their side of the Big Ten has 3 of the top 17 states.

They've played in Ohio, PA, or NJ almost every season. Throw in OOC games in California, Florida, and even Virginia, and they're getting a good bit of exposure.
