Saw IT last night. As good as advertised.

I told myself I wasn't going to turn away or shut my eyes at any point, but there was one part where I couldn't help but shut my eyes momentarily. So I didn't quite make it all the way through.

There were at least 3-4 times where I got full-body chills because it was so creepy. Well done.

A couple of nitpicks, though. Try as they might to place this in the very late 80s (88/89), it looked more like the 70s to me. Probably my biggest nit on that point was the bikes the kids rode. The bikes were straight from the 50/60s. Heck, in the mid-70s we were all riding 10-speeds, not jalopies like they showed in the movie. They REALLY missed the mark on that one. Many of the cars were a little old for the late 80s as well. I also remember one verbal expression getting used -- don't recall what it was, sorry -- that we didn't use in the 80s.

Overall, excellent flick. Very, very well done. Easily the best King adaptation so far. (I'm partial to Christine, which I think was a very good adaptation of the book.)
