I wasn't suggesting that the ACC should add a small mouth on its own.

However, if the ACC is going to add Texas (and whatever other Big XII schools), then it should at least explore the possibility of adding schools in states where there already SEC members in them to help minimize the "island" problem.

One reason I am at least open to exploring the possibilities is because I could easily see the P4s end up in their own version of a media Civil War. On 1 side you have the ESPN Camp which is made up of the ACC and SEC. While on the other you have the Fox Camp which is made up of the Big Ten and the Pac Whatever #. The importance of developing ACC-SEC rivalries and content may only be magnified given the riff between the 4 power conferences.
