You may wish to have your son consider Iowa St.

They have outstanding graduation placement rates. Based on my son's experience, it appears they offer financial aid to make up the out-of-state difference.

(On top of that, their admissions and financial aid decisions are by formula, so you can get an idea of where he stands before he applies.)
