VT and Pitt are the key votes on ACC future schedules.
Apparently the new ESPN contract specifies that ACC schools have to play 10 P5 games per season. Andrea Adelson analyzed how the voting is shaping up.
I think this can be solved by doing the 8 conference games and 2 non-conference if the ACC will facilitate some extra Coastal vs Atlantic non-conference games like UNC and Wake have done. The members with in-state SEC rivals could make it work, and the 9-1 crowd could as well. There is nothing wrong with UVA or VT scheduling non-conference games with NC State or Syracuse to cover the requirement IMO.
One possibility is to have the ACC schedule a rotation for that last OOC game using the 10 members that don't have SEC in state games. [Post edited by HOO86 at 08/16/2016 4:47PM]
