Practice makes permanent


Remember, if they have bad habits the cage will only reinforce them.

I think a cage is a great tool for drills and working on specific things like hitting inside or outside or low pitches. But the danger is kids getting in there and just swinging and swinging, not working on anything specific and not having anyone to correct them.

When they get tired they will get sloppy and if they continue to swing they can introduce bad habits.

I'm putting up furniture blankets and a net in the storage room for my son for this winter to work between his weekly sessions with his hitting coach so I get the idea, just have to be careful that a good thing doesn't have an unexpected effect.
