More reps have their pros and cons.


I had coaches that swear by reps in a batting cage on a tee or tossing the ball up. I had others that would limit it unless some one was throwing extra BP. At a young age I think it's great for hand eye cordination, HS is the age I was saying watch out, the best advice I can give you for hitting is, find some camps with very good hitting instruction. I learned more about hitting my 1st 2 weeks in the minors than I had my whole life. If my son is still interested in baseball in HS, I will look at good camps instead of summer ball.
