No matter how "water proof" the interior wall you may still have a problem


the water will come up and between the wall and the concrete floor. There has to be seam or crack there and the water will find it. I believe all of the companies that "guarantee" dry basements all dig down from the base of the wall on the inside and install a drain to drain water away to a sump area where it is pumped out.
