Paid off the house in '07. Re-financed in 2000, for 15 yrs at lower rate..


Then paid double for 7 years. Took the old mortgage payments and bought another piece of property and just finished paying it off. Hardest thing for me was to remember to put aside the insurance and property tax monies, as they were all part of the monthly payment. Ready to retire and have no debt.
