They're just holding out


They'll join a conference at the last possible moment, or they will jump when the $$$$ they get for being in a conference are greater than what NBC will pay them for 6-7 football games a year.

Will NBC remain happy paying that fee for a slate of games involving Temple, Georgia, Miami(OH), USC, NCSU, WFU and Navy? That is 3 marquee names if you include Navy. Not exactly what NBC affiliates around the country are clamoring for.
