I think an "answers by the end of the yr" ultimatum has been served.


And ACC leadership is indeed kicking the can and trying to buy time. I think ESPN is kicking the can too. They're not wanting to cough up the dough, so it serves them well to keep this thing together as long as possible while spending relatively little dough.

I do think folks have been waiting to see what this B1G contract looked like too. Just how much money is it going to take to keep the ACC schools competitive? Can the ACC fend off the B1G? How much will it take for GT to remain loyal? Can ESPN provide them enough money? How much extra exposure can and will ESPN agree to provide?
