You have to remember that ESPN leveraged their entire cable package...

...to get those types of numbers for the SEC network. They basically said, "eat it, or we'll cut the entire family of ESPN channels off your network." Not sure where people automatically think the SEC is that much better of a conference than the PAC-12 or ACC. The only difference is they had ESPN behind them 100%. I think the SEC was paid properly, and I hope the ACC gets an appropriate deal too, but I'm not holding my breath.

Somehow I don't see them taking a similar hard line for the ACCN...
