Hyperbole like this, "...behind the scenes deals are the reason the league has slid from the top athletics conference to nearly falling apart in slightly over a decade" does significant damage to valid points you might make. The ACC is not perfect and has made mistakes but, it is far from falling apart. Moreover, depending upon the criteria used and weighting of those criteria it is easily arguable that the ACC isn't the worst/ most unstable( or even in the bottom half) of power five conferences. Continued revenue generation is topic#1 on the minds of most, if not all, schools, however, the changing landscape is calling in to question whether a conference network will even be the vehicle of choice for content distribution in the future. You are not entitled or due an answer from the conference as those are due directly to the member institutions who are then charged with sharing the info with fans, donors, alums the general public as they are compelled.
