It is frustrating right now but it is no accident that there is a is a look-in clause/July 1 deadline in the ACC contract.
I'm reading contracts and articles/discussions about network implementation, looking at earnings and how they are reported, and how networks are faring. You just seem to yell at Swofford and look at life through the rearview mirror.
I like my approach better.
Just to point out a couple of things...the ACC reports its net earnings. The Big 12 reports its gross earnings. The SEC, PAC, and B1G numbers don't subtract the school investments in their networks and the B1G does include their "ticket tax" distribution numbers. Several of the TV deals are back-loaded so some numbers are based on average and others are based on the max at the end. So virtually all of the comparisons on earnings are guesses.
