It's like you didn't read my post
I know top SEC games are not on their network. A given SEC team will be on SECN 2-3 times a year against a bad OOC opponent and maybe a bad SEC team. If a provider does not carry the SECN, a fan of that team will miss those games. That creates outrage, threats to switch to a different provider, and a good subscriber rate. You will not have the with the ACC football. ESPN/ACC could try that with basketball but to anyone who has been paying attention to conference realignment, basketball is a small fraction of importance compared to football.
Eating up airtime with Olympic sports does not drive $ and we're talking $ here, not placating ACC fans with games watched by 2,590 people and old re-runs.
I've been saying these things for years. But you don't have to take my word for it...the proof is in the network (or lack thereof) and the subscriber rate. If it were profitable for ESPN to launch a new ACCN channel they would. Even if they do, it won't beat the $3 mil per school.
