*FORMER* doberman owner here. Made an immature decision


They require TONS of exercise, and if they have a job to do (like property to roam) all the better for them. Our puppy was rambunctious as hell, and still had a puppy's brain at 34 inches tall. He was quite a handful.

He was the nicest dog ever and very intelligent, just not right for our lifestyle. He would have made a great family dog.

He went on to guard an alpaca farm in Maryland and is absolutely flourishing there.
