I've become convinced rivalries are very important.

That's why I've done a 180 on West Virginia. I was on the Syracuse Board recently and they are saying they miss West Virginia. They had played annually since 1955, way before the Big East.

WVU would instantly restore rivalries with VT, Pitt, and Syracuse. That would be a huge asset to the ACC. If Oklahoma destabilizes the Big XII, I'd like for the ACC to get WVU.

Oklahoma and Nebraska has been a great rivalry over the years, and it could be restored in the Big Ten.

The UVA and Maryland rivalry I've never really cared about. We have ours with VT and with UNC. Maryland was never a big deal to me.
