This is part of why I like the idea of WVU in the ACC

Everyone in WV loves WVU in the way you describe, and they would travel very well to VT, Pitt and Louisville I believe.

I just think that to keep up with the juggernaut conferences we need to get into Texas more than we need WVU's fans. Part of it is to trash the Big 12, to push them further down the pecking order. Taking WVU from them and stopping there would not do that. They would just replace them with Memphis or Boise and stay about the same. But losing OK State, Houston, and Baylor would push the Big 12 into G5 territory.
