Dodd/CBS Reporting Divisionless Scheduling is Close - Good for the ACC

It appears the SEC was mad at the ACC for delaying playoff expansion but are now over it and also want Divisionless Scheduling. With all P5 conferences on board, this appears imminent by the end of the month. I've got to say, it was probably good for the ACC that this is coming now vs earlier. I would think they are going to be able to shuffle schedules around based on TV needs and negotiate a healthy increase to their football contract deal at the same time the market is reset with the PAC 12 Big 12 BIG and SEC contracts are being renegotiated. Who knows, they might opt for a 15th member at that time since they would not have to have an even amount of teams or even 9 conference games. I think this depends on the BIG and PAC 12 and if they are truly going to have a scheduling alliance or not. I personally would love to see West Virginia added or even Kansas for their basketball. I think basketball is going to be ultra important if the Power 5 leave the NCAA and have their own tournament and invite who they want to participate. There is just way too much money on the table that the NCAA currently keeps and doesnt distribute to the schools. I also think we are moving towards a P5 G5 split in Football with all schools moving to schedule P5 teams only.
