long-term vision. An we definitely see eye-to-eye that VT probably doesn't have one publicly or privately. It may even be VT's Achilles heel from an athletic administrative standpoint. From a financial standpoint, because VT doesn't appear to have a long-term vision, I can't imagine how much money has been wasted (may not be the right word here) because VT was more concern with addressing the short-term goals. Now that's not to say the decisions weren't necessarily bad ones because the facilities or improvements were needed at the time. VT just may not have gone about doing it in the most efficient way.
