That pretty much nails it..


The only difference is last year's preselection deal was a one-off because of Covid.

I believe this year no one will know until selection Sunday whether they will host - no "preselection" of 20 teams like last year.

Team do have to apply - there's a lengthy questionnaire, but I'm pretty sure VT meets all the requirements.

The main thing is to just win and not have a series like Notre Dame last year.
