This may come as a surprise, but VT has never won an ACC Tournament.

***Correction--thanks RJ, we did win an ACC Tournament when Tincher was pitcher. If we win ACC this year we will have to get past bunch of very good ranked teams, FSU, Duke, Clemson, ND, etc. ACC is very competitive this year and has about 6 teams that could win it.

NCAA selects 64 teams, 32 will receive automatic qualifiers and 32 at large bids. 16 will be selected as top 16 seeds, each of the 16 seeds will host a regional site on their campus. VT will have to be in the Top 16 seeds to host a regional. There will be 4 teams and double elimination at each regional site.
