The Tournament Committee relies on statistics a little too much when picking teams?
Some of the automatic bids should be trimmed down to make room for other borderline teams? Specifically Wake Forest or Texas A and M? These teams would have been more competitive than some other bids.
Is there too much reliance on the quad wins and not enough subjective viewing? For instance, in the ACC Conference, was there too much focus on early on losses than on the whole season? The early November and December losses had a tremendous affect on the quad wins and losses that the ACC teams would play in conference play.
There are three ACC teams left, all that have losses on their resume' to Va Tech.
