Now? No idea. When I was a kid, I did it 3 years in a row without any


Supervision from anyone. Won #1 x2 and went to regional competition and then #2 x 1time. Maybe it’s different now. My parents worked really hard but too busy with their own work requirements. By chance, the car died bc the engine didn’t have enough oil or something on the way back from me getting supplies for it, and I got my ass kicked for that. But that was the extent of my dads involvement in any of my science fair projects.

Goddamn kudos to you to take care of your kids where the existing system has obviously failed them! I’ll leave it at that.
