The point he made that I 100% agree with that is lost in a lot of the other parts is that amount of secrecy in the process makes little sense. The committee has done wonders improving the metrics they use to select teams and the process now is FAR better for both selection and seeding than it has ever been. There is no reason they can’t work harder to open up that process and lay out why the teams are where they are - I would love to know what metrics could possibly justify Tennessee as a 3 and Duke as a 2 seed for example but instead it was a fairly closed process and that question was danced around time and again.

It is also very clear that by playing their conference tournament later the SEC is putting itself at a disadvantage and I wish the NCAA would do a better job handling the late games or just come out and admit that that is a problem.
