the technological prowess of the Russian military. You consider that since 1991 the United States has been outspending them on defense budgets at a 6 to 1 ratio and that is almost 31 years. I would guess the US is a generation ahead of them in battlefield weaponry.

I am sure they have done some advancements maybe stolen some others from us but how much smoke and bluster has the American Military Industrial Complex spouted about new secret Russian equipment that we absolutely need to counteract with newer more sophisticated equipment in the arms race. I don't disagree as long as they are run by a thug dictator with Nukes.

The NY Times wrote a price about a 4 hour battle of Khasham in 2018 in Syria with supposedly Syrian Troops that were really Russian Special Forces and the infamous Wagner Group. 40 Marines with air defense capability decimated and killed between 200 to 300 of these guys. Not one marine was killed.in the battle. That leads me to believe that Putin, if/when he takes Ukraine and is smart will not plow into a NATO country. His army will lose badly and be embarrassed..
