That would make sense. Although I you look at Arkansas's football schedule

then you will see they have been playing Mizzou on Rivalry Week since 2014 (according to fbsschedules.com). While LSU and TAMU have been paired up since then too. It is why I am not sure Arkansas will want to change its Rivalry Week opponent back to LSU. Likewise, LSU and/or TAMU may not want to change their Rivalry Week opponent either for various reasons. I guess that is one of the reasons I thought Oklahoma and Texas might end up being paired up or Oklahoma end up being paired with LSU (assuming Texas and TAMU are paired up). I guess there is even a scenario where Oklahoma ends up with TAMU and Texas ends up with LSU.

Assuming Oklahoma and Texas want to continue playing the RRSO on its scheduled weekend and the other current pairings don't change, then I guess both could end up playing an OOC game on Rivalry Week. In theory, Oklahoma could opt to play an OOC game on Rivalry Weekend regardless who is available to be paired up with Oklahoma that weekend. In theory Iowa State and Mizzou could opt to renew their rivalry which would free up Arkansas for Oklahoma or both could opt to play an OOC game instead. Lots of potential different scenarios which will be interesting to see which one ends up playing out.
