Again, I don't think it's for the hiking crowd, it's for the trail running


crowd and the AT in MD is relatively smooth, you have a lot of activity like that The "four state challenge" or as mentioned doing MD, or the JFK 50 which used the AT and the C&O canal.

I've been doing different sections in MD for the last couple months and that's the first segment I've seen. Maybe I need to go back and look at the other one's. May be back in the 'burg in a couple weeks and do a little hiking there, see if anything shows up.

In our area there are probably hundreds of segments for cycling. But now that I think about it, I did pick "hiking" with the little hiking shoe so maybe it is a hiking segment? Or maybe the trail runners don't have their own icon?
