My mom complained of memory loss and brain fog also


This was before she developed Alzheimer's. Lipitor/Atorvastatin was the strongest statin at the time. Might be different on side effect with a weaker statin, The statins also make you a high risk for diabetes which is a strong risk factor for Alzheimer's. The diabetes diagnosis came shortly after statins also, but I think it would've happened anyways with the weight gain.
