Every HS kid I have talked to said last year was an absolute waste

My wife coaches 6-18 year olds, and I have a daughter who graduated last year. To a person they all said last year was an absolute joke. The really smart, motivated kids fared better. I have a friend who has a son who aced last year and another son with special needs (ADD, dyslexia, etc.) who had an abysmal year that probably set him back another year.

My daughter was homeschooled and had no problems. No real impact. Doing great in college as she pretty much had been doing a college curriculum for 2 years already.
