Remember that every dog has a different personality.


There is only one dachshund in our neighborhood that I'm aware of, and it is the most "lovable" dog I've ever met. It just loves everyone, and loves to be held. There aren't many like that one.

The elderly lady that owns that dog had another dachshund before this one, and it was pretty friendly too. Not as friendly as this one, but still pretty friendly.

We don't have any bad dogs in the neighborhood. The second friendliest is a German Shepherd. Another awesome dog. Probably #3 is a boxer.

My advice, try to get a good read on the dog's personality before you buy. There are some who just haven't been acclimated to people or other dogs, and they will usually have issues around others.
