can’t support going forward as our HC. However I will continue to support him as what I feel is a decent human being and would encourage ALL true Hokies to do the same. He has failed to get the job done for multiple reasons which really don’t mater at this point. Anybody here that has not failed at something some time in your lives ? You don’t have to like the job he has done ( I don’t either) but please at least treat the man with some degree of respect and dignity. Some “fans “ on here seem to derive such joy from the fact that it is now inevitable that he will be fired. I hope none of you on here have ever been fired but I have. It was a very difficult on many levels. I have also had the displeasure of firing people. One person that I fired went into a downward spiral and eventually took his own life. It is a very sad event when someone losses their livelihood. I feel sorry for Whit for what he has to do here. So please cant we just let this play out and not strip Coach Fuente of his dignity with personal attacks and criticisms of him and leave his family out of this. Also we are not just firing just one coach and his family but many coaches and family’s who love Tech and Blacksburg will be forced to leave. I’ve always though Hokie fans were better and different from all the rest sadly I have learned we are not. Feel free to attack me as I’m sure some will but it’s football people it ain’t life or death. Go Hokies.
