Vehicle A/C Question. 2016 GMC Acadia A/C no longer producing cold air.


I remember a thread here a month ago, maybe more, saying that if your A/C isn't working, don't just recharge the Freon / coolant. If it's not working, then there MUST be a leak. Meanwhile, I've also heard that even a leak free system will lose 10% of the coolant each year.

So when I do decide to get it repaired, do I definitely get them to check the system for any / all leaks? AND, any clue on what that will cost?
