The worst one I've had was a North Face with...


...one of their earlier proprietary "Gor-Tex" membranes. It shed rain well, but would maintain a clammy "ecosystem" inside the jacket. It's one of those I consider a "standing in place" jacket, not a hiking jacket.

If you are really active, none of the waterproof membranes are fantastic at removing moisture, but some are much better than others.
