The holdup for any changes is the contracts


Look at our future schedules page. Every OOC game on there has an associated contract that would need to be changed. That is not an easy or fast task across all the schools we are talking about.

Plus, when you look at creating schedules, it is not just about who you play each year. You have to balance out when a team has a bye week, tv schedules, balancing of schedules to eliminate unfair advantage, and school commitments.

Any big changes are going to require a lot of work to implement across college football.
