Don't know what the sentiment is with the UNC faithful but I think we're in for a strong match up.

UNC has recruited extremely well of late but they lost a LOT of offensive production at RB (Carter and Williams) and WR (Brown, Newsome). While they'll just backfill that with more of that talent I also think it's hard to duplicate the effectiveness when you've lost that much experience at the skill positions. Howell is a stud but having that group of players around him probably helped. I think as the season goes along UNC will get better and better but I'm glad we've caught you early. Question for me on the Heels is will they make the improvements on defense that are needed to take another step?

The Hokies are clearly the dog here but I think they'll surprise some people. They've been young the last 2 years but are more mature as a group now. Bringing back a lot on both sides of the ball, especially at skill positions. Burmeister is a very good athlete and I think is poised for a big year. Also think there is a major urgency to win and win critical games like this one. Fuente's future relies on it.

Will be intriguing.
