VT wasn't leaving UVa.


UVa worked to get us into the ACC. VT leaving later would have damaged UVa's conference.

We made our bed when we turned to politics, lawsuits and UVa to get us into get into the ACC.

The alternative at the time was to stay in the Big East and hope for the best later. Both were unattractive alternatives caused by no fault of our own. Just the circumstances of life.
