IMO, ALL of this leading to a real or de facto classification of elite schools.

Yes, people blast Swofford but all of those expansions and tv agreements kept the ACC together. He couldn’t magically make networks pay more for an inferior football product. If he negotiated a shorter term deal B1G would be talking to schools not named VT right now.
