Many of those are non-starters.


SEC: not interested in Ok St, or Louisville (Kentucky doesn't want them in particular).

PAC: Won't take Baylor or TCU, or BYU due to religious affiliation. Secular.

Big Ten: KSU doesn't fit the academic profile. And they have no need for Pitt (plus Pitt is in a long term ACC contract).

ACC: Pick up WVU is a possibility, but doubt they add anyone else.

There is no need to go to 18 as if it is a magic number. Members are only added if they add to value per school to the conference.
