Etc, do you want more names who have 2-3 ace pitchers? VT has had ONLY ONE, good starting pitcher the past couple years (Rochard). If Eberly didn't leave couple years ago, we would have 2 ace starting pitchers that can carry the load. This year Rochard pitched 41 out of 52 games. Pitched the last 6-7 regular season games, both games in ACC Tourney, & all 6 games CWS playoffs. That's a heavy load for one pitcher, alot of fatigue, alot of strain on the joints, without full recovery between games. She lost the last 2 games against UCLA & she did look tired. Hopefully, next season VT will have 1-2 pitchers that can start next to Rochard, give her rest/joint recovery between games.
