I think its a bigger deal on mountain bikes. Tubeless lets you run lower


pressures so your tires have better grip (no worry about pinch flats at lower pressures). Never tried on road bikes. Not sure what kind of pressure you can run at on a road bike tire, but I supposed there is a benefit to reducing roadside flats.
