one main conjecture on his part (agree with most of the article especially the research part). He implies that if the Power Schools break off that there will be no Conferences. That is simply not the case. There would be a Power 4 Football Commissioner that negotiates the TV deal and actually makes some of the rules (like limiting football staff) that the NCAA doesn't seem to have the power to make or do. That's plenty of work for the Power Football Commissioner. The Power 4 could even stay with the NCAA on all other sports. As far as more Power Conference games, that is simple, go to the Quad system and if you win your Quad and Quad matchup you make your Conference Championship/playoff game. it expands the playoff to 8 teams and it keeps the regular season relevant. Just like now, losing OOC games have no impact on going to the Conference Championship. Losing those games now does impact rankings, so schools are reluctant to schedule a lot of them with the current system.

Seismic change is coming Conference Boarders, just like we have been discussing here for many many years!
