You should look at the data rather than guessing. For those
have been fewer COVID deaths since 2/1/20 than influenza deaths. (That chops off about 1/2 of the flu season.) For other age groups, the COVID deaths are higher. For age 45-54, they are about 3 times as high.
Again, it is a serous illness, but is it serious enough to warrant the continued actions that are being taken? (I thought the initial ones were prudent based on the available data at that point, but we're well beyond that now.)
