A fatality rate of .6% is still six times higher than the flu. What's .6%
of the American population? And our lack of testing is a huge part of the problem. Not to mention Iceland enjoys some advantages that we don't have. I disagree with your last sentence vehemently. We're where we are now b/c we didn't take this seriously enough to begin with and we weren't prepared.
