The Big 12 with 10 teams doesn't have a conference channel and there seems little to no chance of having one. I realize ESPN is paying them like they have 12 teams, but the lack of exposure a conference channel gives you over time can hurt you. That's what scared most AD's in the ACC when we did not have one. Dabo after the Ohio State game went on the ACCN and said this is awesome! I was tired of watching the SECN and seeing those guys get the extra exposure after a game.

Think about this, the other Power Conferences have a channel and 3 have 14 teams and the one that has 12 the PAC is struggling the most. So while I get that you don't need to have 12 to have a conference game anymore, I do think you need at least 12, probably 14+ to have a Conference Channel.
