Probably not given that some times anyone can sign for it


I think that is an okay policy because it allows minors to receive packages in their name and still allow a parent/legal guardian/adult to sign for the package. Plus, if the intended recipient is not at home at the time, then someone else could legally sign for the package on their behalf. I would think that is handy for time sensitive deliveries (business or personal).

I will say I do like your suggestion about taking a photo of the person receiving it and steps to minimize the physical contact between driver and recipient.
