I chuckle when I hear adults say they were disappointed in Disney World
80%+ of that place is designed for kids. So yeah, they don't really care if adults are underwhelmed. They want the kids who ask for toys, clothes, lots of food and all kinds of other carp they don't need. And thus more of the safer and easier 3D rides compared to the roller coasters that not everyone will be big enough to go on.
And in the past when Disney has raised prices, I chuckled at those who complained. They do it because they can. Demand is always high so why not add another few million in profit with higher prices if the market is willing to pay. Not directed at you, just a comment in general.
Hope you got some butter beer at Universal. That alone is worth the price of admission.
