I think switching players before the game would be welcomed


If I was an opposing coach, I'd much rather take your good players on my team in an effort to have a more balanced game. A 10-15 goal differential doesn't benefit anyone. I'd try to talk to the other coaches in advance, figure out how travel players are split up among these four teams, and then just move them around on game day.
Another possible suggestion would be to offer the kids on the teams that don't practice a chance to come practice with your team. The fact that the league / town combines players of widely different skill levels makes it tricky, but it's still workable if the coaches can communicate.
Do you have any idea how the other game went?
